My name is Henning Hansen and I live in Slagelse, Denmark.
I have a MSc. in Business and Economics (International Business) from Aarhus University and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing Management) from University of Southern Denmark (SDU) which I completed in 2016.
My exciting career within wind power
In 1999 soon after I graduated from Aarhus University I met three representatives from Vestas Wind Systems when they held a company presentation at Aarhus University. I secured a job inverview and rode the bus all the way to the West Coast of Jutland. It was back then when NEG Micon was number one and Vestas was number two and most of the work places were situated in Ringkøbing and Lem. It was a very exiting workplace where everyone was proud of what they had created and achieved.

In August 1999 I began in the department Internal Sales. Here I worked with forecasts, deliveries and daily coordination with the subsidiaries in the US, Gamesa and the two export sales subsidiaries Vestas Scandinavian Wind Technology A/S og Vestas International Wind Technology A/S.
In 2002 I got the great opportunity to become stationed in Scotland. Vestas had just started up the Sales and a Production Unit Vestas Celtic Wind Technology Ltd, and I moved to the west coast of Scotland to the little town Campbeltown at Mull of Kintyre. It is a very beautiful area. I assisted the Sales Department with the implementation of the ERP system Mapics, but soon spent most of my time preparing tenders, vistited customers and participated in conferences.
Following some staff changes in the department I took responsibility and sold som wind turbine orders, created project lists and created an overview of the whole wind turbine market in the UK and Ireland.

In 2004 the office was moved from Scotland to Warrington between Liverpool and Manchester. I was responsible for my own customers, but I was keeping my old tasks. I created an overview of all customers and projects in UK and Ireland, so we allways were on top with the trends in the market. The picture above is from the All Energy 2006 trade fair im Aberdeen.

In 2007 I decided that I marketing should be a larger part of my worklife and Market Intelligence became my main task. What I had done one the UK market should be done on all markets in Vestas Nortern Europe, and I suddently worked with Market, Competitor and Customer Intelligence on all markets. I moved back to Denmark and I began working for the regional sales subsidairy Vestas Northern Europe A/S. Soon after we were informed that the office was to be moved to Malmö Sweden, and I decided moved to Sweden.

In 2011 I left Vestas and moved down the road to E.ON Climate & Renewables. The wanted to examine the Finnish market, and aimed at building wind farms there. I got a six month contract and handed it over to a Finnish Speaking Buiness Developer.

In 2013 I wished to return to Denmark and be closer to my family. I had been away from Zealand in 2013 so I needed to find my roots again.
I changed business and started working as export manager of Intelligent Light Systems at Conson A/S.
I 2015 begyndte jeg hos Vision C A/S i Slagelse, hvor jeg arbejder med strategi, markedsanalyser og rådgivning af lokale virksomheder.
I 2016 færdiggjorde jeg en HD i Marketing Management ved SDU.
